The ABODA Summer Conducting School is Australia's longest
running conducting school and is an intensive six-day training course. The
unique course encourages participants to

explore the art and mechanics of conducting

achieve greater insight into performance techniques, aspects
of musicianship and a range of band repertoire
Participants registered for the school will have the
opportunity to work with a panel of Victoria's finest conductors and music
educators in group and individual sessions, through video analysis and with a
'live' ensemble.
Observers can play in the band, attend all sessions and
receive course notes.
The costs of the course vary from an observer rate of $310 to
a full conducting registration of $580. Discounts are available for ABODA
members and early-bird registrations.
